Broken Glasses

“Everyone has a story. It depends how we say it.”
“If you haven’t achieved your dream yet,
your story isn’t over yet.”

BROKEN GLASSES

Stories of Life, Turned Into Rock.

For everyone who has fallen and stood up again.

For everyone learning to forgive.

For everyone carrying something nobody else can see.

For everyone whose dream hasn’t happened yet.

And for everyone who eventually discovered that the broken pieces weren’t the end of the story.

They were the pages of our life.

THE STORY BEHIND THE ALBUM

Some things break loudly.

Others break so quietly that we don’t understand what happened until years later.

A dream.
A friendship.
A love.
A belief.
A version of ourselves.

BROKEN GLASSES was born from looking back at those pieces, not to put them together again, but to understand what each one taught me.

These songs are inspired by experiences collected across a lifetime: love and disappointment, ambition and failure, anger and forgiveness, responsibility, friendship, success, loneliness, dreams and second chances.

Some people entered my life and stayed.

Some disappeared.

Some loved me.

Some hurt me.

Some I hurt without understanding what I was doing.

And some returned years later to teach me that people, and life itself, can never be understood from only one chapter.

I no longer believe every painful experience was simply a bad experience.

Sometimes failure was direction.

Sometimes loss was freedom.

Sometimes distance was healing.

Sometimes forgiveness was strength.

And sometimes the person I blamed was carrying a story I had never understood.

That is what BROKEN GLASSES is about.

Not revenge.

Not blame.

Understanding.

THE SONGS

01 SOMEONE ELSE’S WAR

Sometimes we inherit battles before we are old enough to understand why they began.

We believe what we’re told. We choose sides. We fight. And only years later does life place us in somebody else’s shoes.

Then suddenly we see differently.

This is a song about regret, understanding and one of life’s greatest gifts:

being forgiven when you finally have the courage to say, “I was wrong.”

02 WHAT DID YOU WIN?

What remains after a lifetime of anger?

When the argument is finished, the battlefield is empty and everyone has gone home, what exactly did we win?

Sometimes being right costs far more than being wrong.

Peace may be the greatest victory we never learned to fight for.

03 THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOU A MAN

Strength isn’t measured by how loudly a man speaks, how much he earns or how many battles he wins.

A strong man doesn’t keep feeding the fire.

He puts it out.

Real strength is accepting responsibility, admitting mistakes, protecting rather than destroying and having enough courage to end a cycle that could otherwise continue forever.

04 WHAT DID YOU LEARN?

We can collect degrees, titles, knowledge, money and achievements.

But what have we learned if we never learned gratitude?

What have we achieved if we cannot understand sacrifice?

Education can teach us how the world works.

Wisdom teaches us how to live in it.

05 LIFE HAD OTHER PLANS

We make plans for tomorrow as though tomorrow signed an agreement with us.

It didn’t.

People change. Dreams change. Roads separate. New lives find directions nobody predicted.

Sometimes the future we couldn’t control becomes more beautiful precisely because we couldn’t control it.

You cannot tell the river which direction it must run.

06 EVERYONE WAS A REASON

There was a time when I called certain years of my life failures.

Today I call them education.

The roads, the cities, the strangers, the friendships, the lovers, the empty pockets, the closed doors and the people who remained when there was nothing to gain.

Perhaps not everyone is meant to stay.

But perhaps everyone was a reason.

07 HOW MUCH CAN ONE MAN CARRY?

Strength can become its own prison.

When everyone believes you can carry everything, eventually nobody asks whether it hurts.

Responsibility matters.

Keeping your word matters.

Standing up again matters.

But there comes a moment when strength also means knowing what is yours to carry—and what must finally be put down.

Even strong men need somewhere to put the weight down.

08 I CAME WITH LOVE

Two people can share the same moment while arriving for completely different reasons.

One can see today.

The other can imagine tomorrow.

Neither necessarily has to be wrong.

Sometimes the painful part is simply realizing that we were listening to different songs.

You came for sugar.
I came for love.

And perhaps, for one unexpected chapter, it still became…

more than we expected.

09 WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE JUST STARED

Life eventually teaches us the difference between company and friendship.

Some people are there for the celebration.

A rare few remain for the silence.

No expensive dinner.
No gifts.
No performance.

Just:

Come. Let’s walk. Tell me what’s happening.

When everybody else just stared…

you stood there.

That is friendship.

10 BROKEN GLASSES

And finally, the pieces make sense.

I have failed.

I have succeeded.

I have loved.

I have lost.

I have made mistakes.

I have worked, built, fallen and started again.

And yes, I worked hard to earn the style and life I enjoy today.

But perhaps the greatest thing I earned was not something I could wear, drive, own or display.

It was perspective.

I stopped trying to repair every broken glass.

I stopped trying to make everyone understand me.

I stopped believing every closed door meant the journey was over.

Sometimes life empties us because there needs to be room for something new.

So let the glass be empty.

Let yesterday go.

Keep the lessons.

Keep dreaming.

Keep creating.

Keep loving.

And when you fall—

begin again.

Because…

EVERYONE HAS A STORY.

IT DEPENDS HOW WE SAY IT.

And if you haven’t achieved your dream yet…
YOUR STORY ISN’T OVER YET.

LYRICS

1. SOMEONE ELSE’S WAR

Fifteen years old with a loaded mind,
Too young to see what stood behind.
You gave me a flag, you drew the line,
Told me your enemy should be mine.

I learned your anger, word for word,
Repeated every lie I heard.
Thought I was brave, thought I was strong,
Never knew which side was wrong.

I was carrying a weapon
I was far too young to hold.
Fighting someone else’s battle,
Believing what I’d been told.

I was a soldier
In someone else’s war.
Breaking down a good man
Who kept giving more and more.

I couldn’t see the blood then,
I couldn’t hear the scars.
I was fighting someone else’s war
And calling it my heart.

He kept his hands upon the wheel,
Worked through the pain he wouldn’t reveal.
Built us a roof, kept out the rain,
While every gift came back as blame.

Nothing was enough to fill
A heart determined to be still
Angry at the sun for shining,
Angry when the world stopped fighting.

And I stood there like a shadow,
Repeating every word.
Until life became the teacher
I never wanted to have heard.

I was a soldier
In someone else’s war.
Breaking down a good man
Who kept giving more and more.

I couldn’t see the blood then,
I couldn’t hear the scars.
I was fighting someone else’s war
And calling it my heart.

Then karma changed the uniform.

Put his boots upon my feet.
Put his silence in my mouth.
Put his loneliness in me.

And suddenly…

I understood.

Every door he closed quietly.
Every word he swallowed whole.
Every night he stood there bleeding
Without letting hatred own his soul.

So I went back…

Not with excuses.
Not with pride.
Not asking time
To choose my side.

I lowered my head.
I gave him the truth.

And asked forgiveness
For what I couldn’t undo.

He forgave me.

Just like that.

No punishment.
No debt.

He forgave me.

I was a soldier
In someone else’s war,
But I laid down every weapon
When I finally knew what for.

And the years that came thereafter
Were the years I won’t regret.
We laughed beneath a quieter sky,
And I learned what love had meant.

He left this world in silence,
But he didn’t leave me poor.
He left me something greater
Than everything he’d worked for.

Now I carry what he gave me,
But I carry something more.

I try to leave some good behind
Before I reach that door.

Because karma changed the uniform
And showed me who we are.

I was fifteen when I entered…

Someone else’s war.

And a lifetime older
when I finally
walked out.

2. WHAT DID YOU WIN?

You spent a lifetime drawing lines,
Naming enemies, choosing sides.
Every silence became a crime,
Every wound survived through time.

Wise men came and questioned why,
Asked you once to look inside.
But every answer stayed the same,
Another face, another blame.

No proof upon the table,
No truth that we could see.
Just stories growing heavier
Each time you handed them to me.

Years became decades,
Decades became scars.
Tell me, after all this fighting…

Do you know who you are?

What did you win
From a lifetime of war?
What did the anger give you
That you didn’t have before?

What did you find
Keeping every wound alive?
When everybody leaves the battlefield…

Tell me…

What survives?

I finally dropped the stones I held,
Walked away from my private hell.
Found the courage to admit
Some broken things were mine to fix.

I found forgiveness waiting there
Where I expected only blame.
No debt demanded from my hands,
No punishment attached my name.

And when I tried to cross the ruins,
Reach the ones still standing there,
You built another wall between us
As if healing wasn’t fair.

I don’t want another battle.
I’ve had enough of choosing sides.
There aren’t enough tomorrows left
To keep yesterday alive.

What did you win
From a lifetime of war?
What did the anger give you
That you didn’t have before?

What did you find
Keeping every wound alive?
When everybody leaves the battlefield…

Tell me…

What survives?

The one you fought
Isn’t standing here anymore.

The battlefield is empty.

So who…

Are you fighting for?

Do you ever wake at midnight
And question what you knew?

Do you ever ask yourself
If maybe you were wrong too?

If one voice carried all the blame,
Could truth have lived somewhere between?

Could years of anger change the past?

Could hatred make you clean?

And if you know…

If somewhere deep inside
you know…

Why not heal what still can heal?

Why not knock upon the door?

Why wait until there’s nobody
Left to forgive anymore?

WHAT DID YOU WIN
FROM A LIFETIME OF WAR?

Look around at all the silence—
Was this what you were fighting for?

What did you save
By never letting anything die?

How many lives will you keep running
From the question…

Were you right?

What did you win?

What did you win?

Tell me what you won…

Maybe karma isn’t punishment.

Maybe karma is the day
You finally stand inside the shoes
Of someone you once blamed.

Maybe heaven gives us lifetimes
Until we understand…

That being right means nothing
When there’s no one left
To hold your hand.

So before another lifetime…

Before another door…

Tell me—

What did you win

From all this war?

3. THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOU A MAN

You said you learned to work too young,
Hands on the wheel before you’d grown.
Made your money, earned your scars,
Built your pride on working hard.

You told me that’s what makes us men
Stand your ground and never bend.
But strength is more than what you earn,
And age means nothing if you never learn.

You carried anger from your past,
A fire somebody gave to you.
Then placed that fire into my hands
And showed me who to burn it through.

I thought your rage was wisdom.
I thought your age meant truth.

God, I was young.

God, I believed you.

BUT THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOU A MAN.

Not the money.
Not the years.
Not being louder than the voices
You don’t ever want to hear.

A strong man stops the fire.
He doesn’t feed the flame.

He brings the broken back together.

He doesn’t teach them
Who to hate.

You could have been the steady hand,
The one who said, “Enough is enough.”
You could have questioned what was wrong
Instead of teaching us to fight.

But you became the general,
And I became the foolish gun.
You pointed where the anger went

And I was young enough to run.

Now I look back at what I did,
The things I thought somehow were brave.

And I could scream at who I was…

For every stupid choice I made.

But I won’t blame my youth forever.

My hands became my own.

The day I learned to question you

Was the day
I finally grew.

THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOU A MAN.

Not the anger.
Not command.
Not gathering around a fire
With another match in hand.

A strong man finds a doorway
When everybody builds a wall.

The weakest ones keep talking.

The strongest try
To save us all.

Tell me…

What did all that anger teach you?

Look around.

Same wars.
Different names.

Same blood.
Different blame.

Same doors slammed shut.

Same people you refuse to face.

You hated what came before you…

Then became another link
inside the chain.

And don’t tell me about heaven
If forgiveness makes you laugh.

Don’t tell me about the soul
While you’re still poisoning the past.

Don’t speak to me of wisdom
If reconciliation makes you rage.

Faith isn’t what you say you are.

It’s what you do
when you’re given a chance
to change.

I came back with an open hand.

You laughed.

I asked to bury what was dead.

You dug it up again.

That’s when I understood…

I cannot heal everyone.

But I can decide
what kind of man
I become.

THAT DOESN’T MAKE YOU A MAN!

A man can admit when he was wrong.

A man can walk into the ruins
And ask what still belongs.

A man doesn’t need another enemy
To prove that he is strong.

Sometimes the greatest battle
Is admitting…

You’ve been wrong.

So keep your anger if you need it.

Keep the wars you never end.

I found something stronger
Than the hate you called defence.

There was one person
I needed to face.

One wound
I helped create.

One pair of eyes
I couldn’t leave this world
without looking into again.

I couldn’t fix everything.

I couldn’t bring everyone together.

But the one I once helped hurt…

I gave him peace
before the end.

And THAT…

was my victory.

Not defeating you.

Not proving I was right.

Not making anybody choose me.

I simply stood beside the man
I’d once been taught to fight.

So if our roads should cross again,
Remember who I am:

I was once the boy
who followed you.

Now I choose
the kind of man
I am.

Strong men put out fires.

Weak men feed the flame.

And somewhere between forgiveness
And everything I couldn’t change…

I finally became strong enough

to walk away.

4. WHAT DID YOU LEARN?

You filled your walls with paper,
Put letters after names.
Learned the words of wiser people,
Learned the rules of clever games.

But did anybody teach you
How to see a tired man’s hands?
How to measure years of giving?
How to simply understand?

He built the road beneath your feet,
Then watched you travel far.
Paid the price behind the curtain
So you could become who you are.

You learned a thousand answers.

But somehow missed the truth.

So tell me…

What did you learn?

WHAT DID YOU LEARN
IF YOU NEVER LEARNED TO SEE?

What are all those words worth
Without gratitude or empathy?

How much must somebody give
Before enough becomes enough?

You learned how to conquer the world…

But did you ever
learn to love?

Every season brought another need.
Another hand. Another cost.

And somehow all the things he gave
Were counted less than what was lost.

Years of work became expected.
Sacrifice became routine.

When someone gives you everything,
Soon everything becomes unseen.

Even when his shoulders weakened,
Even when the daylight dimmed,

There was always one more expectation.

One more thing
you wanted from him.

And I was guilty once myself.

That’s why I know the weight.

I found the courage to turn around

Before it was too late.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN
IF YOU NEVER LEARNED TO SEE?

What are all those words worth
Without gratitude or empathy?

How much must somebody give
Before enough becomes enough?

You learned how to conquer the world…

But did you ever
learn to love?

I thought when I turned around…

Maybe you would turn around too.

I thought watching someone
put down his weapons

Might make you question
what you knew.

But forgiveness made me the enemy.

Peace became betrayal.

And somehow choosing to heal
Was another reason
to hate me.

Then one day…

The chair was empty.

The voice was gone.

The hands that carried everything
Could carry us no more.

And while I was still standing
Inside that silence…

You looked at me

And questioned
whether I would care
for what remained.

That sentence…

I still carry.

Not because you were right.

Because you believed
you needed to ask.

So hear me now—

As long as I can stand,
I’ll carry what I can.

Not because you questioned me.

Not because I need applause.

Because I finally understand
What responsibility really costs.

I cannot rewrite yesterday.

I cannot wake the dead.

But I can make damn sure
My actions speak louder
than everything you’ve said.

SO WHAT DID YOU LEARN?

When the books are finally closed?

When the titles mean nothing
And we’re standing there alone?

When the money has been counted,
When there’s nothing left to claim,

Will you finally remember
The hands behind your name?

WHAT DID YOU LEARN
IF GRATITUDE NEVER CAME?

What did knowledge give you
If you carried forward
the same blame?

You learned how to conquer the world…

But somehow never knew

The hardest education
Is learning
to question you.

And someday…

The last responsibility
will leave my hands.

The bills will stop.

The rooms will empty.

The promises will end.

And then there will be
no one left between us.

No duty left to question.

No old voice left to blame.

Just you…

Me…

And everything
we became.

What will you say then?

Will you still defend the war?

Will you still count every wound
And forget what came before?

Or will some quiet night arrive
When pride has nowhere left to run…

And you’ll finally understand

What someone gave
before he was gone?

I hope you do.

Not so I can say
I was right.

Not so you can say
you were wrong.

I hope you do…

So we don’t spend another lifetime

learning the same damn song.

What did you learn?

5. LIFE HAD OTHER PLANS

We began with words on paper,
Two young voices miles apart.
Trading dreams and little secrets,
Learning every hidden scar.

Then one road crossed an ocean,
And suddenly words had eyes.
Maybe karma knew the reason.
Maybe timing chose the night.

You always knew which way to turn,
I always let you lead.
For a while your way was enough
For everything I’d need.

We thought we knew tomorrow.

We barely knew today.

Still we drew our little map…

And life smiled
the other way.

LIFE HAD OTHER PLANS.

While we were drawing lines,
While we were choosing destinations,
Life was choosing time.

We thought love could write the future,
Thought dreams obeyed our hands.

We were busy making promises…

But life
had other plans.

I saw something in your hands
You hadn’t learned to see.

So we chased your distant horizon
Until your dream became reality.

Then I said, “Now let me wander.
There’s a road I need to know.”

And somewhere between your becoming
And learning where I’d go…

We waited for a miracle.

We begged the years to choose.

Nothing came when we demanded.

Then it came
when we’d stopped looking.

LIFE HAD OTHER PLANS.

While we were drawing lines,
While we were choosing destinations,
Life was choosing time.

We thought love could write the future,
Thought dreams obeyed our hands.

We were busy making promises…

But life
had other plans.

Then you changed the map.

Not because the road had disappeared.

You simply believed
you knew where it should lead.

Away from certain voices.
Away from certain roots.

A carefully protected garden
Where you could choose
which flowers grew.

But you cannot tell the river
Which direction it must run.

You cannot choose the music
Another heart will someday love.

You cannot place a camera
In somebody else’s hands…

And tell their eyes
exactly what to see.

Life doesn’t ask permission.

It becomes
what it will be.

LIFE HAD OTHER PLANS!

And look what time became.

The future found its own voice
And never played our game.

Beautiful, fearless, independent,
Walking roads we never planned.

Neither yours.

Neither mine.

Just becoming
who life said, “I am.”

So tell me…

After everything we’ve seen,

Do you still believe
we write the ending?

Or can you finally admit…

Sometimes the greatest things in life

Become beautiful

Because they never followed
our plans?

You lived it your way.

I learned to live mine.

And somewhere beyond both our wishes…

Life kept perfect time.

Maybe karma wasn’t choosing sides.

Maybe neither of us understood.

We spent years trying to shape tomorrow…

While tomorrow

was becoming exactly
what it should.

Life had other plans.

6. EVERYONE WAS A REASON

I once held dreams behind a lens,
Chasing light from place to place.
Thought I’d capture something timeless,
Thought the world would know my name.

Then the doors stopped opening,
And the money disappeared.
I called those years my failure…

I know better now.

They were the years
that brought me here.

I was running toward tomorrow,
Never asking where I’d been.

Too young to know
that losing something

Might be where
the story begins.

EVERYONE WAS A REASON.

Every road became a page.

Every stranger left a sentence.
Every lover left a trace.

Some came to break me open.
Some came to make me strong.

I thought that life had lost its way…

But life knew
all along.

I crossed borders chasing something
I couldn’t even name.

Met beautiful souls in midnight rooms,
Some I loved, some loved me back.

I inspired a few to dream again.
A few awakened dreams in me.

Some disappeared when pockets emptied.

That’s when I learned
who stayed for free.

Because when you’ve got nothing,
There’s nowhere left to hide.

An empty hand reveals the truth
Of who’s really by your side.

EVERYONE WAS A REASON.

Every road became a page.

Every stranger left a sentence.
Every lover left a trace.

Some came to teach forgiveness.
Some showed me what was wrong.

I thought that life had lost its way…

But life knew
all along.

Back then…

I thought being rich
meant having more.

More money.
More rooms.
More things behind the door.

We were taught to count our lives
By everything that could be owned.

Funny…

I had so little then,

Yet those years
made me whole.

There was a hand that pushed me forward
When I couldn’t see the road.

A voice that said, “Begin again,”
When I couldn’t carry hope.

I didn’t understand the wisdom.

Not then.

But seeds don’t ask permission
before they grow.

And years later
I finally understood

What someone long ago
already seemed to know.

EVERYONE WAS A REASON!

Every scar became a line.

Every failure built a chapter
I was never meant to write.

Every kiss.
Every goodbye.
Every door that wouldn’t move.

Every person on my journey
Left me something
I could use.

Maybe nothing was coincidence.

Maybe nothing came along
Without becoming one more piece

Of the man
who tells this song.

Now I see life differently.

We’re not here
to get everything we want.

We’re here to experience.

To fall.

To love.

To lose.

To learn.

And somehow…

To become.

Some will understand it early.

Some may need another life.

But every soul we meet
leaves fingerprints

Somewhere
inside our time.

So if you’re standing in the ruins
Of the dream you thought was gone…

Don’t call it failure yet.

You haven’t lived
the ending of the song.

Everyone was a reason.

7. HOW MUCH CAN ONE MAN CARRY?

We met somewhere inside the night,
Two lonely souls with time to burn.
Glasses raised and lights turned low,
Too busy living then to learn.

You hid some pages from your past.
God knows, I hid some pages too.
We knew the warmth, we knew the touch…

But did we ever
really know the truth?

Years later I would understand—

You don’t know someone
through the night.

Morning tells a different story
When there’s nowhere left
to hide.

HOW MUCH CAN ONE MAN CARRY
Before he puts the burden down?

How many storms can hit one heart
Before it stops making a sound?

I’ve been somebody’s disappointment.
I’ve been somebody’s blame.

But underneath this armour…

I’m still a man
who feels the pain.

Then life became responsibility.

No more running from the day.

And every time the anger came,
Another hidden truth gave way.

You said the falling walls were mine.
I started questioning that too.

Until I learned that taking blame
Doesn’t make every accusation true.

Still, I accepted what was mine.

The choices.
The mistakes.
The cost.

Because becoming responsible
Means standing up
for what you’ve caused.

HOW MUCH CAN ONE MAN CARRY
Before he puts the burden down?

How many storms can hit one heart
Before it stops making a sound?

I’ve carried anger that wasn’t mine.
I’ve carried guilt and shame.

But underneath this armour…

I’m still a man
who feels the pain.

Maybe you think you suffered less.

Maybe you think I suffered more.

Pain doesn’t keep a scoreboard.

Karma doesn’t count
who won the war.

We both walked into that fire.

We both knew the doors we crossed.

So don’t hand me every consequence
As if you never
shared the cost.

I watched bitterness grow louder.

I watched tenderness disappear.

And strange enough…

The harder life became,

The more I learned
to see things clear.

I stopped asking who should suffer.

I stopped begging to be understood.

I simply asked myself each morning:

What responsibility
is mine to do?

And I did it.

And I still do.

And I will
until I can’t.

HOW MUCH CAN ONE MAN CARRY?

More than even he may know.

But strength isn’t carrying everything.

Sometimes strength
is letting go.

I don’t hate you.

I don’t need revenge.

I don’t need you to understand.

I forgave what I could forgive…

Then took my life
back in my hands.

You can keep the version
Where I’m responsible for it all.

I’ve stopped defending myself
To people determined
not to hear me at all.

There was a time
I would’ve stayed

Just to prove
I didn’t run.

Now I know distance isn’t hatred.

Sometimes distance
is how healing gets done.

Too much bitterness
can empty every room.

Too much anger
can make tenderness disappear.

And after carrying so much hate
From so many different directions…

I finally asked myself:

Who remembers
I’m human too?

So I choose peace.

I choose responsibility.

I choose distance.

And I’ll carry what is mine…

But I won’t carry
your anger anymore.

Even strong men
need somewhere
to put the weight down.

8. I CAME WITH LOVE

I’ve watched flowers become numbers,
Watched their meaning disappear.

Not, “Did you think about me?”
But, “What did someone else bring here?”

A little wasn’t beautiful
If somebody once gave more.

And somehow every second meeting
Had a price behind the door.

We learned romance from photographs—
Saturday dressed in gold.

But nobody photographs Monday
When the working man grows old.

Nobody sees the morning
When the music disappears.

The weight he carries quietly.

The responsibility.

The years.

I CAME WITH LOVE.

That’s all I ever knew to bring.

Not the biggest box,
Not the brightest stone,
Not some temporary thing.

I came with time.

I came with scars.

I came prepared to stay.

If that’s worth less than what I buy…

Maybe love
has lost its way.

Then somewhere in all that searching,
I found a beautiful surprise.

What began with simple expectations
Became more before our eyes.

More than we expected…

At least that’s what I believed.

For a while I thought I’d found someone
Who saw the man beneath.

But we had entered through two doorways,
And neither called it by its name.

You came for sugar.

I came for love.

We entered different games.

I CAME WITH LOVE.

You came for sugar.

Maybe neither one was wrong.

You knew exactly what you wanted.

I was hearing a different song.

I saw tomorrow in your smile.

You were living for today.

And maybe that’s the cruelest truth

Two hearts can share a moment
And still want different things
along the way.

So I changed one little thing.

Not to punish.

Not to play.

I simply needed to discover
What would happen
if I gave my heart…

But nothing else that day.

And suddenly
I had my answer.

It hurt.

But truth sometimes should.

Because a wound discovered early

Can save a lifetime
if you let it.

So I won’t call you cruel.

You told me what you wanted.

I was the one
who heard something more.

Maybe I was hungry for tenderness
After fighting too many wars.

Maybe one peaceful pair of eyes
Made me imagine home.

That’s mine to understand.

Not yours
to carry when you go.

I CAME WITH LOVE!

And I still believe that’s enough.

Let the whole damn world keep measuring
Who brought what
and who spent more.

I would rather bring one honest heart
Than diamonds without a soul.

Because gifts eventually disappear.

But how you made somebody feel…

That stays
when we grow old.

And someday…

When Saturday nights are quieter,

When mirrors tell the truth
that time eventually tells us all,

Maybe an old melody
will find you somewhere.

Maybe you’ll remember
the man who didn’t hate you
when you walked away.

The man who turned the moment
into music instead.

And if these songs reach you then,

Don’t remember what I gave you.

Remember how I saw you.

Remember how I respected you.

Remember that for one chapter
of this strange life…

We became
more than we expected.

Even if only
for a little while.

Someone came
without pretending.

Someone came
hoping to care.

Someone came
with love.

You came for sugar.

I came for love.

And somehow…

We still became
more than we expected.

9. WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE JUST STARED

We were young beneath the lights,
Dancing like the night was ours.

People knew us when we entered,
We were chasing little stars.

For a while the world applauded,
And we laughed beneath the glow.

Then one evening changed the music…

And I quietly
let you go.

You thought I simply disappeared.

Maybe I let you think that way.

Some truths don’t need reopening.

Some wounds are kinder
when they stay.

WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE JUST STARED,

You stood there.

When the room was choosing sides,

You didn’t care.

You didn’t ask me what I had.

You didn’t ask what I could give.

You simply stood beside me…

And reminded me
how friendship lives.

Years went by and life became us.

You found your strength.
You found your name.

Built your world with your own hands
And learned to master your own game.

Then somehow roads crossed once again.

Older eyes. A different view.

You were angry that I’d vanished.

I never told you
what I knew.

But time had something else to show me

Something worth much more than youth:

Not everyone who stays beside you
Needs your version
of the truth.

WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE JUST STARED,

You stood there.

When voices tried to pull you closer,

You didn’t care.

You didn’t ask what you could gain.

You didn’t measure what I’d give.

You simply stood beside me…

And reminded me
how friendship lives.

That’s when I understood…

Some people want the dinner.

Some people want the diamonds.

Some people only call
when the table’s full.

But the rare ones…

They’ll walk beside you
with empty hands.

No reservations.

No expectations.

Just

“Come on.

Let’s walk.

Tell me what’s happening.”

And maybe that’s what wealth becomes
When you’ve lived enough to know:

Someone you don’t have to impress.

Someone you don’t have to show.

No performance.

No pretending.

No price upon the night.

Just two old souls exchanging stories
Under ordinary lights.

WHEN EVERYBODY ELSE JUST STARED,

YOU STOOD THERE!

When I couldn’t tell who stayed or left,

You were there.

And I don’t owe you diamonds.

I don’t owe you some grand display.

I owe you something harder—

To stand beside you
the same damn way.

When your world becomes too heavy,

When everybody disappears,

If someday you’re surrounded
But somehow no one hears…

Remember there’s one person
Who remembers what you did.

You stood beside me once.

I’ll stand beside you.

That’s what friendship is.

Funny how life changes meaning.

Once we danced to win the room.

Now I’d rather take a quiet walk
And talk beneath the moon.

We don’t need to recreate
Who we were back then.

Some stories aren’t supposed to restart.

They become
something better instead.

So wherever these roads take us,

Whatever waits around the bend…

Thank you for becoming

the kind of person

I can simply call…

my friend.

When everybody else just stared…

You stood there.

10. BROKEN GLASSES

I’ve watched dreams fall from my hands,
Watched plans disappear like smoke.

I’ve stood inside empty rooms
With nothing left but hope.

I’ve loved.
I’ve lost.
I’ve failed.

I’ve watched some doors stay closed.

But every road that broke beneath me
Taught me somewhere else to go.

I used to ask life,

“Why me?”

Now I ask,

“What did you come to teach?”

Because sometimes what you’re searching for
Isn’t supposed to come…

Until you’re ready
to receive.

BROKEN GLASSES
ON THE FLOOR.

Pieces of the man
I used to be before.

I won’t put them back together.

I don’t need that life again.

Every broken piece reminds me

I survived
where I have been.

So break.

Fall.

Cry.

Begin again.

If you haven’t achieved your dream yet…

Your story
isn’t over yet.

There were years I chased the money,
Thinking wealth would make me whole.

We were taught that being richer
Meant collecting more and more.

So I worked.

I built.

I lost.

I started from the ground.

And I worked damn hard to earn the style
I’m finally living now.

I wear the life I worked for.

And I enjoy each moment too.

Not because of what it cost me—

Because I know
what I went through.

BROKEN GLASSES
ON THE FLOOR.

Every failure opened up
another door.

I won’t hide the cracks behind me.

They’re the reason I stand tall.

You don’t learn how strong you are

Until you’ve had
to lose it all.

So dream.

Work.

Fall.

Begin again.

If you haven’t achieved it yet…

Your story
isn’t over yet.

And somewhere along the journey…

I learned something.

You cannot fill a glass
that’s already full.

Sometimes life has to empty you.

Empty the anger.

Empty the pride.

Empty the need
to always be right.

Let yesterday leave.

Let people leave.

Let the version of you
that no longer belongs…

Leave.

Because only when there’s space inside

Can something beautiful
come in.

Every person was a reason.

Every failure was a page.

Every love became a lesson.

Every scar recorded age.

Some people came to hold me.

Some came only to depart.

Some broke pieces from my life…

And somehow
opened up my heart.

Now I don’t curse the journey.

I don’t wish away the pain.

Without the nights that nearly broke me,

I wouldn’t love
the sun the same.

BROKEN GLASSES!

LET THEM FALL!

I don’t need to save the pieces.

I have learned
to love them all.

I believe in what I’m building.

I believe in who I am.

I believe the dreams still waiting

Will arrive
when I can stand.

And if I fall tomorrow—

I’ll get up
and start again.

Because failure isn’t the ending.

It’s another page
beneath the pen.

EVERYONE HAS A STORY!

IT DEPENDS HOW WE SAY IT!

Some will whisper theirs in darkness.

Some will stand
and bloody play it!

So turn your scars into music.

Turn your failures into art.

Turn every door they closed before you

Into somewhere new
to start.

Believe in yourself.

Believe in your dreams.

Even when nobody else does.

And if you haven’t achieved it yet…

YOUR STORY
ISN’T OVER YET!

Today…

I work.

I create.

I travel.

I dream.

I love.

I laugh.

I live.

And I enjoy
every damn moment of it.

Not because life became perfect.

Because I stopped asking it
to be.

I let go of what I couldn’t change.

I made peace with what I could.

And when I finally emptied the glass…

I understood.

Life was never asking me
to put the pieces back.

It was asking me

to stop staring
at the broken glass…

and look up.

This is my story.

Tell yours
however you choose.

Just don’t stop writing it…

before life
is finished with you.

BROKEN GLASSES.
